I just finished Ptolemy's Gate, the third book of the Bartimaeus Trilogy. And my first reaction was to scream, "Dammit! The book's over!" I really don't have any words to describe how very cool and how very annoying the ending of the book was. Gah. The book was kinda slow to start up, but by half way through I was hooked and couldn't put it down. Gah. I'm still reeling. In a more mature review, I really liked the character development in this book. I still think it could have been fleshed out more, but it was good nonetheless.

I finished the GTO manga. Read volume 25 a few days ago. Truly crazy stuff. I'm still left wondering about how Onizuka managed to pin a dead bird on whatshername's back while in that fire. I think the mangaka ran out of pages that particular chapter since he certainly had those 43 pages to waste in silliness at the end. The ending was fitting if a bit surprising. You're left with the feeling that everything just kept going after the cameras were off Onizuka. New plots, and dilemmas. Oddly enough, I'd have appreciated more of a resolution with Azuma, but other than that, it was cool. I shall miss reading it.

Have you seen the GTO live-action TV show? I used to watch that. Takashi Sorimachi is so hot in it.

Yeah. I've seen everything but the movie:) He was very hot, as was the guy who played Kikuchi.
