Today's been a pretty weird day for me all things considered. My hormones are playing havoc due to that period thing so I was craving chocolate and alternating moods really weirdly even if I tried not to let it effect my classes. Baby class was crazy since it was one boy and he completely ignored me unless I was chasing him and capturing him in hugs, which I would have been perfectly happy to do but his mum was there and I had to at least try to teach him English. He was great for a cuddle at least. *L*

Afterwards was class with the singing lady, and I'd completely forgotten that she'd promised to bring us "himono", or dried fish for lunch which turned out to be an entire lunch of also sausage in a bun, anpan and chocolate milk. The fish was something I'd seen before, but never tried - an entire fish about the size of my hand fins and eyes and all that had been dried out. You pick the meat off with your chopsticks and try not to eat the bones. Not something I would ever have tried on my own (I tend to gag whenever I hit a bone and therefore I avoid fish other than sushi or salmon whenever possible.) but it was actually pretty tasty.

My Mine class was pretty normal excepting at the end as I was walking towards my car, I hear one of the older kids call "Sensei!" and I turn and he throws a towel at me. It was a cute hand towel with Winnie the Pooh on it, but it was really weird and there was no explanation as to why they were throwing towels at me, but it was obviously mine to keep so I smiled and the parents smiled and I went on my way. These things happen in Japan.

My handtowel collection is already five strong. This is worrying me since I'd never used a hand towel in my life before coming here.

I had my last lesson with my favourite advanced class today. Kinda depressing and I had to give them an exam so I bought them cookies to munch on and we did riddles and riddiculed Bush. We have the farewell party on Monday. Le sigh.

I didn't mean to, but as I was burning it off my computer, I watched the first ep of Ouran High School Host Club, and then I not so accidently watched the second and third eps. Oops. I don't know why, but it's a lot more addictive than the manga (which was merely interesting). It might be the good voice actors or the distracting bishounen or the cracktastic jokes.

Speaking of which, G. has a student who's brother is actually a host in a club like that. Who wouldn't want to visit? *L*

Ouran the anime is HILARIOUS!! The manga was an interesting premise, but not nearly as entertaining as the anime. The anime gets better and better, with more character development and interesting little love interests. Keep watching.....it's addictive.
