Tired from essay writing, but still have one more to go. Have been looking through the RK Reader's Choice Fanfiction Awards for good, new fic to read (I enjoy multitasking...honest...), but am a bit disappointed to find that I have either already read it, or it is crowd pleasing junk. But that seems to be the case with most fanfiction awards I've ever seen. I think I'll got to sleep early tonight and try to regain my sanity.

I won two awards though, so obviously the fans have some sense. *preens* *gryns* (sorry, have been making too many Sirius Black posts to [livejournal.com profile] the_giant_squid, in the habit of behaving like a raging egomaniac)

What have you read and particularly liked?

(and in case I hadn't ordered this yet, read Broken Pieces by linay!)

*L* Well, I haven't gotten around to reading the past winners yet:P

From the nominees for this year, I read and enjoyed He Can Be Taught by Kuroiyousei, Prism by Calger459, Ties of Loyalty by Unseen Watcher (despite OOCness...), Broken Pieces by Linay, and Light of the Snow Red Village by Akai Kitsune (though that one is really drifting OOC...). I still have a couple more to go through. Will respond to your comment about what I want to read soon:) (Have also started putting up what I enjoy on my [livejournal.com profile] ficrecs journal.)

Read Broken Pieces. It was okay and probably the best of its genre, but I must admit I really hate Kenshin AU's of that type.
