In one of those fun occurrences that seems to happen every single time I apply to university, I discovered today that my anthropology application, that I thought was safely delivered to Hawaii on the 22nd (due to my nice little postal confirmation which is signed and dated and everything) never got there. A furious exchange of emails with the secretary there assured me that they have no Ruby in their department but maybe it went to some where else in the building... (can I blame this on demons?). As a consequence, I printed out everything again and rushed to the post office to send the stuff off a second time and will hopefully get an email confirming its arrival on Mon-Tues. In other good news, one of my recommendations is still outstanding and Leeds has yet to confirm they've even sent the transcript I requested a month ago, while the Hawaii postgrad department (different from Hawaii's anthropology postgrad division) refuses to even respond to my queries asking if they have all the documents they requested.

It's kinda mind boggling, isn't it? I started this application in November. Everything was requested in due time, and yet here I am, 12 days before the deadline and I don't know if everything will get there.
