An Epic effort

And lo, did deralte vow to finish her essay,
despite her exhaustion from defeating two essays before,
and slaying the mighty Renaissance presentation,
and its child, the Archaeology practical (number 8).

Long did she struggle against the pull of fanfic,
forgoing food and water (except for chocolate),
and although she did falter, her eyes blurred,
leaving the essay unfinished at 5:30am.

Awakened abruptly at 10:30am by her flatmate,
she consoled herself with acetaminophen,
and wrote onwards, ever onwards. Til' day did pass,
and the essay was finished and submitted.

Sing praise for deralte, the victorious!
(and the really quite knackered).
