Saw X-men 2
Where to start...ah yes.
Lebeau, Remy - nearly hugged my flatmate upon seeing that. Keeping fingers crossed for the next movie.
Very cool opening scene with Nightcrawler...but no bampf! Was baring my teeth at him being paired with Storm. *tickles kurt*
Places where I snickered uncontrolably...gratutious naked Logan escaping facility scene - nice lighting *L* and the scene with Mystique and Nightcrawler...oh, and every other semi-dressed character scene.
If you follow the comic book, nothing in the movie is really a surprise (what? Pyro's evil...would never have thought that...), though the fun of yelling out random characters names never dulls.
Far too much overt symbolism.
Nice attempt at multi-ethniticity on Singer's part.
Peter Wingfield! Squee! Had nearly forgotten he was in there, until saw him in army paint and thought, that's a very familar profile. Bryan Singer seems to agree with me, since he closes up on him in nearly every scene he's in, though my opinion might be very biased...*whistles innocently*

Three cheers for Cyclops being in even less of the movie than before!
The movie was paced much better than the first one with better humour. Still had the stupid and randomly placed philosophical and character building conversations inserted in there, but so does the comic so oh well...
Haven't I seen Bobby kiss Rogue that way in fanfic somewhere? or am I mixing up the comic or something...
Good fight scenes all around, though I've realized how much anime has spoiled me since I expected a lot more blood in the Wolverine - Lady Deathstrike fight scene.
Have I mentioned Remy?...:)
Someone needs to write an AU where all the humans in the world are killed.
Darn, think I'm going to have to go read some x-men fanfic now...
The next chapter of Goblin Uprising is now half way written, as opposed to the 1/4 way it's been written for the past couple of months. Will attempt to finish it within the next few days. I'm really pleased at how I've gotten the hang of this novel writing thing. I used to just put in the details I wanted the readers to see, but I've realized I can give more than that. Random facts and world building. It still feels a bit odd, and makes chapters a lot longer but I like the way it looks. I'm really not sure how author's go overboard on detail though. The writing doesn't seem to flow to me if you add in too much.
Lockhart story is now 2/3 of the way written and getting stranger by the minute. This is a reason why I shoudn't be allowed to read strange manga late at night *stares innocently at translations of Pretty Face*
Going to seefyrie tommorrow. Will introduce her to Kenshin. Resistance is futile:) Of course, will be bombarded with Boromir (nice aliteration...). Doubt I will mind;)
Is it possible for there to be any nutritional value in fish and chips?
