This probably proves I shouldn't read Lone Wolf and Cub late at night if I don't want gory dreams... nevertheless I was entertained.
Dream 1) Harry Potter set at some point in the future. POV switched liberally between Harry and Snape. The earliest part of the dream that I remember is Harry going into a cheap shipping area with tons of run down Chinese food sellers. Harry orders something from one of them, then goes to meet Hermione at a different shop. They realize something important plotwise, though I can't remember what and are going to run back to the ship(?) and tell Dumbledore, but Snape, looking his usual annoyed self (and it was book!Snape not Rickman!Snape... I love my subconcious:)) was sitting at the bar of the Chinese shop waiting for his order. Harry and Hermione tell him about the trouble and he rolls his eyes but agrees to go. They leave, and my dream panned to show the disappointed Chinese chef with Harry's food... It's nice to know my subconcious has a sense of humour.
The second part of the dream skips in time a bit, though don't ask me how much. Harry is being confronted by a possessed Ron, whose eyes are glowing red. Snape and Dumbledore are watching from the sidelines, keeping wards and protective spells up. Harry is dodging mostly since he doesn't want to kill him, but then another enemy shows up, Harry rolls out of the way of a blow and looks up to see Ron blocking the blow, his head sliding off his shoulders to bounce near him. Harry's shocked, touches Ron's head. The other enemy (definately a woman) is mostly defeated. Snape and Dumbledore set up a table and chairs nearby to discuss the problem. Harry attempts to join them, but as soon as he lets go of Ron's head, the enemy woman starts to revive. Snape yells something very insulting at him, and tells him to keep the head with him. So Harry ends up sitting at the table with Ron's head in his lap. Dumbledore and Snape are of course, drinking tea. Snape basically tells Dumbledore he was correct about the fight, and Dumbledore looks surprised, but agrees and asks what else Snape is always right about. Snape started going on about the Muggles massing to attack them with Harry getting angrier and angrier that they were wasting time discussing that when it's much more likely that Lucius Malfoy and his group were going to attack. Don't really remember much after this...
Dream 2) Star Wars mostly. POV switched between Luke and pirate girl (who came from RK if I had to make a guess). Luke and Leia are traveling on this ship (a real ship in an ocean though it's too big and has more advanced amenities than it should) for some type of mission. They need to get information somewhere. Meanwhile, pirate girl has been recruited as a junior member of a team to find out and stop what the skywalkers are doing. She attempts spying to get the information. Doesn't work. Dream skips a bit. Somehow pirate girl has gotten herself involved with the skywalkers and has been captured with them. They're interogated in this big room by an android/computer/thing who seemed to think that they all had information it was lacking. For awhile they bravely refuse, then the torture starts. Pirate girl has a strange series of flashbacks and refers to Leia as her sister as she watches Leia get her arm sliced off by a laser (it seems my subconcious' sense of irony is working fine...) and is writhing in agony as they attach a new arm. Woke up about there.
Interesting night, really.
