Went to Bujinkan tonight. We did basic hand throws for the first part (uregaku and omotegaku... just writing them down (and probably misspelling them) to remind myself since I'm horrible at names:)), then we switched to fan vs. sword, a combination which never fails to amuse me. I'm sure it will save my life the next time I'm walking down a street with a steel fan and I'm suddenly attacked by a sword weilding maniac;)
Sensei didn't seem to think my skills had slipped any, thankfully. He still thinks I'm violent though. Can't imagine why *walks away, whistling innocently*... besides I was practicing with a relative newbie and I try not to hurt them too much. Other black belts and chauvinists are fair game though...
Came home to some lovely reviews of Uric. Yeah! Spent day earlier editing the next chapter of Intersections, catching up on fanfic, working on website for job, and reading Anne McCaffrey's Pegasus in Flight book since I can't find To Ride Pegasus anywhere in the house. I had forgotten that she always does a wonderful job introducing her characters.
