Havenward says I talk like I'm british even if I don't have the accent (I can only pick it up for a few minutes before I notice I'm using an accent and stop out of a perverse sense of resistance). I'm inclined to agree with her. Living in Britain has honed my wit and sense of humour to a fine point, or at least a saw with jagged edges.

Bujinkan was fun as usual, though it was one of those frustrating lessons where everything almost worked, but not quite, and sensei decided I was one of his pet projects for the night so he was always there watching to point out exactly how badly I was doing (and to tell me bad jokes for some reason... He's picked up the habit of memorizing scottish themed ones to tell me whenever I'm home...). Funniest line of the night was him pointing to himself after doing something nasty to someone and going "Who's the mean teacher?" while smiling cheekily.
