Have to keep this short since the idiots who run the dig have messed up our schedule again. Sometimes I think the idea of free time never occurs to them.
Dug in the mud today. Made little mud animals when I was bored. Found far too many animal bones and tired as hell since they worked us an hour and a half over time. Wish I was getting paid for this. Suspect the real definition of archaeology student is 'slave'.
Finished 1984. Happy with book though have a few objections to it. nice though.
Have begun to take refuge in the cathedral for privacy whenever possible due to the fact that four more girls arrived over the weekend and they moved three of them into our room.
On the bright side, my french is improving mightily and I find if I don't actually think to translate, I can understand what most people are saying.
Still reading Fruit's Basket manga. Enjoying it utterly. Also reading this manga called Bleach (where my the death and the strawberry title came from before) about a boy who can see ghosts, meets a shinagami (god of death) and ends up taking on her power to defeat someone so now he's a shinagami... Fun reading:)
