In a startling fit of incompetence, I left my wash in the machine all of yesterday and most of today, therefore leaving me with no clothes to wear to go exercising. Be that as it may, I had a lovely evening last night. The lecture on Estonian Prehistoric Religion was interesting enough, and afterwards it was fun to go to the pub with various Arch. people (European archaeology is incestously intertwined, not only did I meet the guy who taught me in first-year, but my friend B. from my dig in Bourges who is now a post-grad here, and who told me that she met a German arch. we've both met earlier that year as her supervisor.) I'm afraid I was really brusque to one of my former supervisors on my Cyprus dig, but while her voice was the same, I couldn't for the life of me recognize her with makeup on, and so therefore was unsure if she was who I thought she was, and by the time I was it was too late.

Afterwards, I went home and made myself a lovely dinner of tomato sauce over pasta and sausage, and watched Gods and Monsters, which was interesting. Then I worked on my website and icons for awhile, before watching the second episode of The Scarlet Pimpernel, which was better than the first, despite the horrific lack of Jamie Bamber;) Captain Keene was in it though *L* It needed a different ending though to keep it really entertaining, and Blakeney's nemesis in the show (name escapes me) is far more interesting than any other character.

I am now, much to my shock, writing Chapter 9 of Goblin Uprising. Two pages down, at least four more to go. The hilarious thing is that I reread the first chapter of Wild Hunt (in order to check my details on the Hogwart Coaches) and found myself going, "Aw, Uric is sooo cute!" which will tell you how long it's been since I even looked at Wild Hunt since cuteness is the furthest thing from my mind when I'm writing Uric. Chapter 9's a bit of a slog though since I have to carry the chapter through a long amount of time, and manage several new character introductions (ie, the teachers and students not already introduced) without boring old readers who might be familar with them, but also with enough information for the new.
