So I just watched Gankutsuou, which is an anime based on The Count of Monte Cristo. The art style is very pretty but hard to get used to. I think it's a lot like what The Sandman would be like if it were ever animated. The plot starts with the Count already after his revenge but it takes place in outer space and the count is said to be an alien. It's odd, but interesting enough so far. It's also oddly slashy with the young man (I hestitate to call him the main character) blushing when the Count asks him to lunch, and accusing his best friend of being his girlfriend or mother.
My head is still pounding with my perpetual headache, though I'm showing no other symptoms so the Doctor couldn't figure out what was wrong. I'm on antibiotics as a matter of course, and they will hopefully have some effect, but this is annoying.
It's still possible to guess what my Hallowe'en costume is going to be and get a drabble from the fandom of your choice (providing I know said fandom). Hints on the costume are, I've written fic for this particular fandom and I'll be carrying a weapon on Hallowe'en;)
