I am enjoying a lovely drink atm that consists of crushed ice, midori, melon soda (hooray for Japanese supermarkets!) and whiskey sour mix. It's a good chaser after dinner at Olive Garden, not to mention bright green *bg*
Sometimes it seems I spend all my time home planning meals. It's always "have you eaten here yet? Are you going to eat there before you leave?" and then you find yourself planning around how many times you eat out. It's kinda weird.
I must speak of my pretty dream this morning in which my subconcious managed to cross over both shows I'm obssessed with atm (saiyuki and bleach). I was researching in a library where I had to spy on the others in the rare books section and borrow a few books. As I was leaving (this library reminded me of a very big version of the library at Vassar) I was chased by... someone who was always in shadow and ended up throwing the books over the railing and into the huge common area/room of the library. This made whoever was chasing me pass me by and I decided to go out for awhile and let it be, but then I met Sanzo outside, who was supposed to get the books from me in the first place (I think he was early), so then I had to go back inside and find out where they'd fallen with Sanzo waiting impatiently (he yelled at me for leaving them and I yelled right back *L*). So we both meander in, pretending we don't know each other and start doing a systematic search. First book was easy, with the second two having been picked up by Chad and Orihime from Bleach. I managed to steal the books back while Chad went on about how Ichigo would arrive because he always came in the nick of time. Then I snuck over to meet with Sanzo and it was so cute cause my dream chibified us both and then someone finally noticed us and we did a comical manga double take before scurrying in our chibified forms behind a nearby pillar and christmas tree. I have definately been reading too much manga recently if my brain feels it's necessary to add in chibi scenes for humour.
Oddly enough, in order to sort of chill my Bleach obsession, I've watched about seven eps of Prince of Tennis since yesterday. And it's weird, cause first I watched this really dire filler episode which rivaled Saiyuki filler eps in badness, but then all of sudden, it got really good. I was trying to figure out why, then I realized that we were nearing the end of hte first season so after having introduced everyone and their tennis styles, they could now focus on the people as characters and develop them over several character oriented shows, which is why I was suddenly enjoying it. The show is a lot more slashy when they're not focused on tennis too. Of course, now it's back to the district tornament or something and it's not so interesting only I care slightly more since I know the characters better. It's still odd though.
Edit: The seiyu who did Hakkai's voice is playing the main rival of the district tornament. It's really distracting to hear his voice...
