So, the anime society is trying to do a showing this week and I'm the secretary. On Saturday, I recieved a random phone call and a 20 minute rant from the treasurer saying that things were falling apart on his end and that no one was giving him support...This is disregarding the fact that neither he nor the president talked to me until the last week of last term, and left it up to me to organize the showing for that week, despite the fact that I have no executive power and no access to the societies money.

So that last week (2 days before term ended, and two days before two of my essays were due) we decided to do a showing third week of term, otherwise known as this bloody week...Well, I got us the tape, and I got us the projector, but when I go to book the venue I discover that the bloody place has been booked since the begining of term and there was no way I could have booked it unless I did it last term which I didn't have time to do because of my essays. So now we have no venue, and I'm not sure what to do, and of course the president is incommunicado...and, I'm going to go lie down and try not to hurt anyone and/or cry...

Cheer up. I can understand how distressed you must be feeling at the moment, but none of this is your fault. They shouldn't have thrown it into your hands at the last minute.

>_<

It's not your fault. Definitely not your fault. Besides, you're only the secretary.

They could have done worse to you, like make you go to the student body government budget meeting without having any notes...

Ditto to what the others said. It's not your fault. Hugs from Tinderblast.

Yeah, they're the idiots, not you. And I so feel your pain... Sara (our club's president) forgot to tell the student union that we'd be doing meeting during the Winter Interim so we were locked out of our regular room for the last two meetings. We ended up hijacking a television in the lounge... hmm, could you guys do that?

No, not really. Our worst bet would be to show it in one of our own flats, but that sort of defeats the purpose of our paying 80 quid for the license for the movie. I think I may have found us a room though...Will have confirmation tommorrow.

*kicks president for you* They're always like that.
It's not your fault. Good luck.

All right. Take a deep breath. Sit up straight. Find your center. Exhale. And tell yourself....

"Dude. It's an anime club. It'll all be juuuusttt fiiiinnne....."

You'll get it together. Just maybe not tonight.
