I had intended to go to Rossalyn chapel today, but was thwarted by my cv not wanting to print. By the time i had a decent copy of it, it was too late to catch the bus and be back in time for the aasoc meal.

So instead, I wandered over to the Royal Surgeons museum which I have never visited despite it being only five minutes walk from where i live. Such a cool little museum, complete with an old man who has obviously been there his entire life and likes to corner anybody who visits and ask them if they have medical experience *L* I saw many displays on why you wouldn't want to be alive in the past centuries, or at least would want to avoid all encounters with "doctors", not to mention "dentists". There were some fantastic pathalogical specimens I haven't seen outside of texts books of wrongly healed compound fractures and tumours and the like. Cool stuff.

For any Napoleonic fans out there, there were tons of remains from various battles especially Waterloo. I had heard there was a book made of Burke's skin (the only one of Burke and Hare to be prosecuted for murder after their little spree to get bodies for the college... I would like to note that amusingly enough, the archaeological department sits right where they used to recieve the bodies from resurrectionists...) and I was very amused that not only was it there, but it was labelled Burke's Skin Pocket Book on the cover. Human skin looks much like any other type of leather is seems.

I don't suppose anyone has a working copy of the Bleach chapter 178 scanlation they could send me? I can't seem to get the bloody thing to download properly.
