Dear Eiichiro Oda, was it really necessary to have a villian who fights with explosive snot? I didn't think so:P That being said, the number of strong female characters in One Piece just continues to grow *huggles series*
Spent the first part of the day wandering about the city with
ashfae and, later,
randomchris. Had the best pie for lunch, called a Morroccan with butternut squash in it, amongst other things. T'was delish. We then watched Doctor Who - The Pirate Planet, an episode which I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed watching it the first time. It's so obvious it was written by Douglas Adams...
I then spent several hours searching for jobs for next year, but that's boring, so we'll move on...
Later, I watched Graveyard of the Fireflies. I fully expected it to have me bawling, but it really wasn't that bad. Very melancoly, yes, but considering you find out the two main characters are dead within the first minute it really doesn't have as much impact as it could have.
Of course, then I completely spoiled the melancoly mood by watching Scrubs and One Piece. Oh well.
