Anti-inflamatories had an interesting effect this morning. They made me sleep on my back at some point, and my own sleep talking woke me up! I was dreaming that I was on some sort of mission (Naruto world... what did you expect?) and I had scouted ahead and was standing perfectly relaxed on a large rock in the middle of a small ocean inlet, waiting for my teammates to catch up. They finally did, by jumping down from a window that opened up in the sky. As soon as they did, my dream switched to Iruka's pov (who was on the team) and his landing in the water where selkie's tried to rip him to shreds and drown him. Since I was in his pov, the dream had a bit of a nightmarish quality which would have been worse except I control my dreams quite well if I can remember them so I just kept dream shifting him away from drowning. The third time (where I was getting fed up enough to move him to the rock) I was woken up by myself yelling "help!" (which is what Iruka was yelling...) only I woke up in just enough time to note that since my lips weren't moving in my sleep, I was actually yelling "arruaaa!" which is even more amusing.
I'm kinda pleased actually. I know I talk in my sleep, but how many people get to hear themselves talk in their sleep?
