Yesterday, all of us awoke grouchy at my dads, and annoyed with my mum for nagging us endlessly about getting to her house on time, which we didn't bother doing. I think she's upset that the years where we hurried to get our presents are over. She did do a good job with food, and the snacks that were set out were fun, as was the wine, which is what I decided to get drunk on for the present opening. This turned out very well since it's a lot easier to fake enthusiasm while drunk.

Books - Japanese Slang Uncensored, Bridge of Birds, The Owl Service, Howl's Moving Castle, Aztec, Raptor, Little Big, The Story of the Stone, Eight Skilled Gentlemen.
Also got a fun notebook, and an absolutely gorgeous Yu Yu Hakusho art book which has all the recent art done for the special edition rerelease of the manga. Some beautiful art, plus tons of chibis *L* I love that the artist has given up insisting Kurama has black hair and draws lots of art where he has either. There's this gorgeous picture of Kurama (human with light red hair) sitting in front of Kurama (youko style).
I got one cd - Asakai Ikue's Utabatayun. She's the singer doing that hauntingly cool song in Samurai Champloo eps. 14-15. Buying her cd was the only way of getting more songs:)
Also got a... name escapes me atm, but a shirt with one of those little tree spirits from mononoke hime.
Oh, and a Kakashi poster, and a special edition Yondaime figurine which is coloured weird, but is fun to look at and is now warding my bookshelf:D

Doctor Who - Pyramids of Mars
We watched Monty Python's Flying Circus for awhile after presents, then I lit the menorah, and we went to have a lovely ham dinner (it's confusing, I know). After stuffing ourselves everybody took a break to digest and dad went home (he just wanted to spend the day playing WOW anyway *g*). I read the yuletide fic entries, then later my mum and I watched Chocolate, and had key lime cheesecake. I actually finished reading 95% of the yuletide entries I'm interested in reading this year before I went to sleep. And thus my holiday ended.
