Bonsoir mes amis. The browser just ate my first entry which took me forever to type on this bloody keyboard so now must start over. Lost luggage has finally arrived at this point, so very happy for that and will now survive so long as no one seriously accosts me. People seem to be hittin on me a lot more than the last time I was in paris. Many a guy seems to be getting whiplash around me and I;ve been propositioned twice. The best one for pure cheese was the guy who paused as I was walking by to call out that I have beautiful eyes.
Slept horribly due to jetlag, stress and the stupid hotel pillow smothering me... oh and its hot as well. Woke up fairly early to meet
archangel457 who was in town on exchange. We walked about a bit before hitting a lovely tea shop to have delicious tea (vanilla flavoured and surprisingly good, but I suppose a 200 year old tea shop has the time to perfect its recipe) and a fantastic pastry called a religieouse (sp?). We talked a way a few hours before he had to go and I went to visit a church that caught my fancy. Very lovely inside.
Then took the metro (paris really does have a good subway system) to Les Ecours de Paris, (if i;m spelling it right), which for you non french speakers means the sewers of paris. It was a combination self tour/museum and was entertaining and interesting, nor was the smell that bad all things considered. think I should have mentioned hte smell in Uric, but oh well.
The Pirates of the Caribbean posters here are quite nice btw, even the ones without Depp and Bloom on them. I think I;ll see the movie again in french when it comes out in a few weeks.
Must be off. Ja ne.
