My heavy duty curtains fell on top of me around 6am while I was sleeping. Am not hurt, but was a bit startled, and infinitely annoyed since I've been telling my family (and more particularly my brother who installed them) that they were loose and going to fall on me someday. There really is very little satisfaction in being right.
I forgot to announce this last night, but the first chapter of my new Kakashi fic is up.
The Way - Hatake Kakashi never realized there would be so many obstacles on his way to graduating and becoming a ninja.
It was meant to be a one shot, but then I realized it neatly divided itself up into decent sections, and that it was getting far too long for my usual one-shot length (currently it's 8 pages with at least three or four more on the way.) New chapter soon since I only need to write a few more paragraphs of it to finish it.
Incidently, you know you've chosen the right book of Japanese folktales and stories when they include two stories about Buddhist monks falling in love with their lovely teenage alcolates. *L* Hurrah for diversity!

Waa, I like it. ^__^ I really enjoyed overly-serious chibi-Kakashi, the way you portrayed that made sense to me. (*was Aaaaaaaw-ing when he was struggling to makes small-talk with Kenchi*)
...and damn my fangirl mind, but it's portraying Kuma-sensei as hot. xD
All in all, thumbs up! ^_^

Kuma-sensei is hot! *L* Dirty-blond, shoulder length hair done up in hundreds of thin braids, an attractive face, sharp green eyes, and a deep caring for his students beneath his calm facade. Of course, that didn't all make it into the text and Kakashi spends most of the fic glaring at the man, so there can only be hints of the bishounnen that is Kuma-sensei;)
I just finished the next chapter actually. If I can get my internet to keep working, I'll have it up within the hour.
